Please see below for a message from our Executive Director, Rhonda Otteson, regarding the 2021 MCH Annual Conference:
I’m writing to share that the MCH Conference is moving to a virtual event.
We wanted to gather with you in person: to network, to learn and to continue to build our collective movement so every child, adult, senior, veteran and relative has a safe, dignified and affordable home. However, the delta variant of COVID-19 poses too many threats to our collective work: people we serve, staff, our communities and the looming threat that a 500-person gathering could become a super-spreader event.
As we set out to plan this year’s conference, we knew that we’d need to watch the pandemic closely. This is what we’ve done and I’m confident the decision to have a virtual conference will provide insights, learning (40+ breakout sessions), and a keynote that inspires while also ensuring the health and safety of our community.
We will be in contact with all presenters and registrants very soon–we sincerely hope that you’ll still join us online to elevate the best of our collective work and inspire your work moving forward.
All my best,
